Maintenance and Testing Coordination

DELIVERING MISSION CRITICAL PERFORMANCE

For mission critical environments, electrical system failure is simply not an option. Proper maintenance and testing can greatly reduce this risk. During maintenance, electrical equipment is cleaned, inspected, and tested to ensure there has not been any deterioration in equipment conditions or performance.

At facilities with complex electrical systems such as data centers and large buildings, effective and safe maintenance requires careful collaboration between multiple stakeholders. It is best to have a third party involved to manage expectations and project details. SourceOne serves as the prime coordinator of activities for electrical maintenance and testing. We work with the utility, electricians, and equipment manufacturers vendors to develop a step-by-step maintenance procedure, specifying estimated time frames and which party is responsible for each task. SourceOne is on-site during maintenance to ensure that the the procedure is executed as planned.

ARE YOU READY FOR A POWER OUTAGE?

The ultimate reliability test for a mission critical environment is the ability to survive a utility outage. SourceOne conducts pull the plug testing in which we simulate an outage and monitor reliability systems to verify their integrity. After a successful pull the plug test, you can be confident that you are prepared for the worst.

For sites where a complete shutdown is not possible, SourceOne can facilitate maintenance and testing by coordinating the operation of redundant power systems during the maintenance. SourceOne also conducts and oversees industry standard (NETA) electrical testing.
