Philadelphia, PA. — SourceOne, a nationally recognized energy services company and a subsidiary of Veolia Energy North America, is expanding and has opened an office in Philadelphia, PA, to serve its growing customer base in the Mid-Atlantic region. Specifically, its business has grown significantly in the Tri-State Area (including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware), the Delaware Valley and Maryland.
“With offices located in Boston, New York, Hartford, Los Angeles and now Philadelphia, SourceOne is strategically positioned to conduct business around the nation,” said Vincent Martin, President of SourceOne. “Recently, SourceOne has added a number of clients in the region, and we look forward to growing our business and helping new and current customers address their energy challenges while supporting their business objectives.”
Located at 2600 Christian Street, the new office will support the increasing demand SourceOne is experiencing from customers throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. An example of SourceOne’s regional growth is a recently announced contract with the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), the nation’s sixth largest public transit organization. SourceOne will help SEPTA to manage energy and risk while optimizing its overall energy costs.
To oversee SourceOne’s regional expansion, Scott Layne, CEM, has been appointed Regional Director in Philadelphia to support the company’s expansion plans and lead business development activities. Mr. Layne has an extensive and diverse background in energy management spanning 25 years. He joined SourceOne from Nexterra Systems Corp., a renewable energy technology company where he served as Regional Vice President. Layne also previously worked at Siemens Building Technologies as the manager of guaranteed energy savings programs for large facilities.
“I am excited to leverage my experience and knowledge of the industry to support SourceOne’s efforts to become the complete go-to energy manager for our clients. SourceOne is a customer-centric, multi-disciplined energy management team for hire,” said Layne. “There is a critical global need for SourceOne’s services and I am enthusiastic about the growing clientele in the Mid-Atlantic regions and providing support for national initiatives.”
